Mr. Amodio also stated “The associations created by the things around us can alter our perception of a situation and promote actions, even if these influences don’t register in our conscious awareness.”
Dave Cullen, author of Columbine, found the notion of claiming Lanza didn’t have a motive “ridiculous.” He continued: “Saying he didn’t have a motive doesn’t change the reality as to whether or not he had one. Everyone has one.”
